District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier: "I would like to thank all citizens once again for their understanding - I know that it is annoying when appointments cannot take place as planned. The staff at the district administration office will process the outstanding inquiries as quickly as possible."
Contrary to yesterday's information, service operations at the vehicle registration office and the driver's license office are still restricted up to and including Wednesday. It is currently only possible to hand in documents. It is recommended that you only attend booked appointments in urgent cases and make new appointments for other matters.
E-mails received by the district administration office during the downtime have not been lost and will be processed once the systems have been restarted. There may be delays in processing e-mails. All departments of the District Office can be reached by telephone during normal office hours. On Monday, there were isolated technical faults in the telephone accessibility of the branch offices, which have since been rectified. Similar services of the other departments can still be offered, such as job interviews, naturalization interviews, meetings with the youth welfare office, conferences at the district office and meetings with the debt counselling service. Citizens are asked to check the district website: www.landkreis-ludwigsburg.de before their appointment at the district office.
The analysis of the security incident is being continued by the Baden-Württemberg Cyber Security Agency, the Baden-Württemberg State Office of Criminal Investigation and Komm.ONE. Further details on the cause will not yet be published due to the ongoing investigation.
