Experience agriculture at the transparent production in June

In June, four farms will be opening their doors for the Transparent Production. Consumers can experience first-hand where and how high-quality food is produced in the region. There are exciting insights, lots of information and homemade delicacies at the farm festival or during the farm tour.

A group of cows is eating from a feeding trough on a farm. The cows vary in color, including brown, black and white, and white with brown patches. They are standing in a row, focused on their food. The setting is open and sunny.

Those interested can get a taste of the barn air on a guided tour of the Geiger family's dairy cattle barn in Bietigheim-Bissingen (Geiger).

Strawberry and asparagus festival

The Schmid family grows strawberries and asparagus as a specialty crop and runs a modern farm store. The farm brand "Fräulein Schmid" is also at home here. The farm also specializes in agricultural contract work from sowing to harvesting.

On Pfingst Sunday, the event opens with a church service at 10:00 am. On both days, the strawberry and asparagus festival offers information about growing and processing your own harvest and a machine exhibition. The Nutrition Center Mittlerer Neckar will provide valuable information on nutrition with fruit and vegetables. The regional market "Schön & Regional", a colorful children's program and delicacies such as cocktails, wine & beer, asparagus dishes, ice cream, coffee and cake complete the program.
