Prof. Martin, initially Medical Managing Director alongside Commercial Managing Director Dr. Peter Steiner since joining the company in May 2013, was then sole Managing Director from 2015. His achievements for RKH Gesundheit were highlighted with a review of the individual stages of his career. This is your achievement, your vision, and one of the major milestones that you have actively driven forward in recent years. You wanted to develop the RKH hospital group into a modern and regional healthcare provider, combining excellent quality with a high level of service orientation, and you have succeeded.
District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier and the guest speakers listed a wealth of projects and measures that the doctor, visionary, manager and doer Prof. Martin has initiated and driven forward. Examples include construction projects, collaborations with hospitals, healthcare and educational institutions, taking over the management of the Reutlingen district hospitals, crisis management during the pandemic, the establishment of medical care centers, digitalization and telemedicine projects, drone flights and sustainability issues, as well as RKH Care, a service for emergency patients. "You are a visionary and have the ability to bring visions to life. You have put all your energy into turning good clinics into very good ones! And for the benefit of the patients in the districts of Karlsruhe, Ludwigsburg and Enzkreis. On behalf of all the shareholders, I would like to thank you most sincerely for this," said Allgaier.
