District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier visits Besigheim Local Court - "The work has become even more important and extensive

District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier recently visited the Besigheim district court. Volker Bißmaier, director of the local court, introduced the head of the district administration to the tasks of the local court and the renovated listed main building. "The work of the district court has become even more important and extensive since its jurisdiction was expanded at the beginning of 2018 to include care and probate matters as a result of the notary reform," said District Administrator Allgaier. There are points of contact between the district office and the local court in youth and family assistance as well as in guardianship matters.

Four men in business attire stand on the steps of a stone building marked "KLOBERAMT." They appear to be engaged in conversation, with one man wearing glasses and a light blue blazer. The setting suggests a formal or official event.

Besigheim Local Court is a court of first instance in civil, family and criminal cases from the local court district. In addition, Besigheim Local Court is also responsible for family matters and, since the beginning of 2018, for probate matters in the neighboring local court districts of Marbach am Neckar and Vaihingen an der Enz. More than 50 employees work in the various departments, whose offices are spread across several buildings in the town.
