Five members of the municipal council and the mayors must each demonstrate their spontaneity and commitment - the task to be mastered will only be announced shortly before the start of the competition. The prize is an exclusive wine tasting for the members of the entire municipal council at a winery in the district. In addition, District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier will support the winning municipality with a work assignment on site, for example by serving wine at an event or helping out with the marketplace clean-up.
The competition will be broadcast live on YouTube from 4 p.m. and can be followed via the link on the district's website under "Landkreisjubiläum". All citizens of the respective municipalities are invited to follow along and support their delegation with advice.
