Through traffic on the B 27 heading for the A 81 freeway or Bietigheim will remain on two lanes in both directions. However, one of the lanes will be diverted to the opposite carriageway in the area of the K 1671 junction.
The construction of a second lane on the K 1671 in the direction of the Grotztunnel and the construction of a new merging lane from the K 1671 onto the B 27 in the direction of the highway will improve traffic flow in the future. This will also be supported by the renewal of all traffic lights on the K 1671 between the Böhringer junction (junction of the L 1110 to Tamm) and the B 27.
On the B27, in the area where the K 1671 branches off, the road surface will also be repaired and the signage adapted. The renovation work is expected to last until the summer vacation.
During the construction period, Fritz-Lieken-Straße will be accessible from the south (Tamm). The Laiern industrial estate (Porschestraße) can be reached via Bietigheim (Industriestraße - Laiernstraße). During the construction period, the Fißlerhof in Tamm can only be reached from Tamm via Frankfurter Straße.
A local detour has been set up for through traffic. Traffic coming from Markgröningen and Grotztunnel will be routed to Ludwigsburg and the A 81 via Tamm (Bahnhofstraße - Ludwigsburger Straße). On the B 27 in the direction of Bietigheim, it is no longer possible to turn left onto the K 1671, so traffic to Sachsenheim, Bissingen and Tamm will be routed through Bietigheim (Stuttgarter Str. - Schwarzwaldstraße - L 1125 - Grotztunnel).
The district has allocated around 2.5 million euros from the district road construction program for the project.
The district administration office asks all road users to continue to show understanding for the disruption caused, especially in the detour area.
