Ludwigsburg district vaccination centers offer vaccinations for children and adolescents as well as booster vaccinations

The Ludwigsburg district vaccination centers (KIZ) (Grönerstraße 33) have been offering booster vaccinations since 1 September. This is usually the third vaccination after two vaccinations (basic immunization) with the vaccines Biontech, Moderna or AstraZeneca. The exception is the Johnson vaccine, where a booster vaccination is possible after just one vaccination. Children and adolescents aged 12 to 17 are also vaccinated. Vaccination is possible on any weekday between 9 am and 7 pm without an appointment.

The prerequisite for a booster vaccination is that the basic vaccination was given at least six months ago and that one of the following conditions also applies:

Vaccination is possible from Monday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. without an appointment, but there may be short waiting times. Appointments can be made via the website https://www.impfterminservice.de/impftermine or by calling 116117.

At the end of the summer vacations, the Ludwigsburg vaccination centers will also be offering vaccinations for 12 to 17-year-olds on 11 and 12 September. On this weekend, children aged 12 to 15 accompanied by their parents can receive a vaccination offer. From the age of 16, young people can be vaccinated at their own request without being accompanied by their parents. Children and young people can also be vaccinated at any time outside of this campaign at the times stated above.

Further vaccination campaigns in the district can be found on the vaccination campaign information page at https://www.dranbleiben-bw.de/.
