On schedule: Construction of new cycle path on K 1623 between Gemmrigheim and Besigheim - full closure necessary for all road users from July 22 to 24

The construction work for the new cycle path on the K 1623 between Gemmrigheim and Besigheim is entering its final phase. If the weather cooperates, the cycle path and the road can be opened to traffic before the summer vacation.

A roadblock is featured with a red and white barrier, and a circular road sign indicating 'no entry.' There is a yellow sign pointing to the right labeled "Umleitung," which means "detour" in German. Several warning lights are positioned at the top of the barrier.

For safety reasons, however, the road and the accompanying cycle path and farm track will have to be fully closed for the installation of the asphalt surface course. While it was previously possible to keep one side of the road open for bicycle and farm traffic, the entire road and farm road area will have to be closed to all road users from Wednesday, July 22 until Friday, July 24. During these three days, no bicycle traffic and no access to the farmed properties via the K 1623 will be possible.

The district administration office asks road users for their understanding for the disruption caused.
