Master housekeepers are trained specialists and managers who work in large households such as hospitals, care facilities or conference centers as well as in agricultural business households. Their day-to-day work involves food preparation, cleaning, laundry and care - always with a focus on people, efficiency and sustainability. As middle managers, they lead teams, train junior staff, manage quality and costs and implement legal requirements.
Master craftswomen in rural home economics from the Stuttgart city area and the Ludwigsburg district who passed their master craftsman examination in 1974 and 1975 are requested to contact the Ludwigsburg District Office, Department of Agriculture (formerly the Agricultural Office), on 07141 144-2700 or fax 07141 144-59927 by September 24, 2025.
In order for the certificate to be issued, proof of successful completion of the master craftsman examination is required, for example in the form of a copy of the master craftsman certificate with the examination date. The certificates are issued by the responsible regional councils and bear the signature of Minister Peter Hauk.
The award is made exclusively on application and is independent of the applicant's current place of residence or professional status.
