The aim of gender mainstreaming is to integrate equal opportunities as a guiding principle into the daily work of all routines and procedures of administrations, companies and organizations. This makes a significant contribution to continuing to actively implement the stipulation of the Basic Law "Men and women have equal rights" after more than 70 years and not losing focus.
The online-only course will begin on September 28, in which participants will approach the sometimes still somewhat unwieldy topic of "gender mainstreaming" in four modules. The aim is to integrate equal opportunities as a guiding principle into daily work and, if possible, all routines for administrations, organizations and companies. "Nowadays, this is a must in order to acquire and be able to demonstrate basic knowledge on the subject of equality," says Cynthia Schönau, Equal Opportunities Officer for the district of Ludwigsburg. The series of courses is supported by the Ludwigsburg Schiller Adult Education Center.
