The movie "The Room Next Door" is about the reunion of two friends after years. Bestselling author Ingrid learns that her friend Martha, a former war correspondent, is suffering from terminal cervical cancer. Martha asks Ingrid to accompany her to a remote house where she wants to end her life. During their time together, they deal with issues such as remorse, friendship and their own mortality. The film was awarded the Golden Lion at the 2024 Venice Film Festival.
