"The exhibition provides information about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) - an invisible disability caused exclusively by maternal alcohol consumption during pregnancy," explains Cornelia Knapp, local addiction officer for the Ludwigburg district. "This damage is 100 percent preventable, but there is still a lack of awareness that even small amounts of alcohol can have lifelong consequences."
"ZERO!" aims to change this and is aimed at school pupils, young adults, students, trainees and anyone interested in raising awareness of the dangers of alcohol consumption during pregnancy. The events of the theme week will take place in the auditorium of the Mathilde-Planck-Schule, Römerhügel 53, 71636 Ludwigsburg.
Opening of the theme week with an information event on FASD

Theme week aims to raise awareness of the consequences of alcohol consumption
The exhibition and accompanying events are intended to raise awareness of the consequences of alcohol consumption during pregnancy and provide knowledge about prevention options. "We would be delighted if we could reach as many schoolchildren as possible - as the parents of tomorrow - with this important topic and provide them as professionals with important information for their daily work," says Knapp.
