Corona crisis: Stuttgart Administrative Court rejects application by restaurateur against extended curfew for restaurants in Ludwigsburg district

A restaurateur had applied to the Stuttgart Administrative Court in summary proceedings to have the suspensive effect of his objection to the extended curfew for restaurants in the Ludwigsburg district suspended. On October 30, the Stuttgart Administrative Court dismissed the restaurateur's application as "unfounded".

The curfew for restaurants between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. in the Ludwigsburg district came into force with the district's second general decree on October 21 and applied until the state's new Corona Ordinance came into force on November 2. The state's current Corona Ordinance stipulates an almost complete closure of all catering establishments. The district has adapted its third general decree, which has been in force since November 3, accordingly. It now essentially only contains authorization bases for the designation of densification zones and alcohol consumption ban zones by the cities and municipalities.
