On March 30 and 31: railings on the Neckarbrücke Remseck-Hochberg bridge to be repaired - half-sided closure - motorists must expect traffic delays

The railing of the Neckar bridge in Remseck-Hochberg on the L1100 will be repaired on March 30 and 31.

Some of the railings on the Neckar Bridge are showing signs of age-related damage. These will be repaired on March 30 and 31 to ensure traffic and pedestrian safety. A collision damage will also be repaired. This will only cause one-off restrictions for motorists.

One of the two lanes on the bridge will have to be closed for the work. Traffic will be diverted past the work site in one lane with the help of a mobile signal system. For this purpose, the traffic lights at the Neckaraue junction will have to be taken out of service for the duration of the repair work. Traffic delays are to be expected. There may also be delays to public transport.

The district administration office asks all passengers and road users for their understanding for any traffic disruptions.
