Heat Pumps in Older Homes: Is It Possible, and Is It Worth It?

Am 26.11.2026 von 17:30 bis 20:00 Uhr

Ort: Ditzingen City Hall, 71254 Ditzingen, Gyulaer Platz 5

Are heat pumps suitable for older buildings? And when is it worth the investment? Carsten Herbert, a civil engineer and energy expert known as the “Energy Conservation Commissioner,” will answer these questions at a free informational evening in Ditzingen.

Heat Pumps in Older Homes: Is It Possible, and Is It Worth It?

In his presentation, Herbert explains in simple terms how heat pumps work and what conditions need to be met for cost-effective operation. In doing so, he dispels common misconceptions and shows that many existing buildings are suitable for the switch to a heat pump with just a few minor adjustments.

Following the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to ask the expert questions directly. There will also be information booths, including one from the Ludwigsburg District Energy Agency (LEA e. V.), as well as a book table.

Participation is free of charge.
