The Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park provides exciting insights into the fascinating world of nocturnal hunters as part of the "Regional Window" exhibition and offers a foretaste of the large bat exhibition that will be on display at the Zaberfeld Nature Park Center from 6 May to 13 September 2026. Visitors will learn more about the biology and way of life of bats and their special way of finding their way around using echolocation. In the regional window, visitors can also discover bat models and information material on other activities in the nature park.

Regional window: "Hunters of the dark - bats in the nature park"

The Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park covers around 41,000 hectares in the districts of Ludwigsburg, Heilbronn, Enzkreis and Karlsruhe. The wine and forest region is home to numerous rare animal and plant species. More than a third of the area belongs to the European Natura 2000 network of protected areas.

Opening hours of the regional window in the district hall:
Monday to Friday: 8:30 to 12:00
Monday: 13:30 to 15:30
Thursday: 13:30 to 18:00
