The Stromberg-Heuchelberg Nature Park covers around 41,000 hectares in the districts of Ludwigsburg, Heilbronn, Enzkreis and Karlsruhe. The wine and forest region is home to numerous rare animal and plant species. More than a third of the area belongs to the European Natura 2000 network of protected areas.
