As Ludwigsburger Abfallverwertungsgesellschaft (AVL) does not operate its own waste collection service, waste disposal companies are commissioned to collect recyclables and waste. From next year, organic and residual waste as well as bulky waste will be collected by ALBA Süd GmbH & Co KG. It remains unchanged that garbage cans and bulky waste must be put out by 6 a.m. on collection days. As the routes have been planned differently, there may be shifts in the collection days and times as well as the emptying intervals at the turn of the year. Further information on this can be found in the waste calendar.
The new collection company must first adapt to the conditions in the Ludwigsburg district during the first collection rounds. The majority of the employees have been newly recruited. Delays and late deliveries may therefore occur at the beginning of 2022. Experience from other districts with a change of waste disposal company shows that the problems are resolved after the first collection cycles and that the employees of the new waste disposal company continue the usual good work of the previous waste disposal companies. AVL already asks for your understanding for any inconvenience.
FLACH will become a paper garbage can
After the last FLACH emptying in 2021, the green garbage can may only be filled with paper, cardboard and cardboard packaging. Foil and polystyrene, which were previously also disposed of via FLACH, will then belong in the new yellow garbage can for packaging waste. Garbage can stickers for the new paper garbage cans are available free of charge at AVL branches.
RUND remains empty
After the last RUND emptying in 2021, packaging waste that is not made of glass or paper belongs in the new yellow garbage can. Glass packaging will then be disposed of in the blue garbage can or glass box. The RUND garbage cans may no longer be filled after the last emptying in 2021. Citizens in the district are asked to temporarily store the RUND garbage cans until they are collected by the disposal companies PreZero and KURZ in the new year. The collection dates are published on www.verpackungsabfall-lb.de. Users of the AVL Service+ app will receive a push notification on their smartphone. If you would like to return your RUND garbage can earlier, you can drop it off at the PreZero waste disposal company in Asperg and KURZ in Benningen.
