Anyone looking for a new challenge

Family support services provide valuable support for families who have a child with a disability. The district has been supporting these services for many years. The services on offer are a colorful bouquet of different activities at different times. Children, young people and adults with disabilities are offered attractive leisure activities, while parents and parents and other family members a breather. Now the family support services would like to get off to a new start and are looking for employees of all kinds.

The service providers include Lebenshilfe Ludwigsburg, Vaihingen-Mühlacker and Leonberg, Gemeinsam e.V., Karlshöhe in cooperation with Diakonie Stetten im Bottwartal. Karlshöhe in cooperation with Diakonie Stetten im Bottwartal, Habila GmbH in Markgröningen, Freundeskreis Besigheim and the town of Ditzingen.

Families and children with disabilities were particularly affected by the pandemic. Many services could only take place on a reduced scale or even temporarily not at all. Now the family support services want to take off again. The offer is being mastered by specialists, interested non-specialists and many students. For students in the social sector in particular, the collaboration is a win-win situation: they gain experience in their future professional field and can earn something on the side. Due to the pandemic, the number of employees has decreased for various reasons.

We are therefore urgently looking for interested people of all kinds to join us. The tasks can be very different depending on the individual possibilities: accompanying group or leisure activities, vacation activities, weekend excursions or individual care in the family. These can be creative, sporting and musical activities as well as the organization of meeting spaces.
