When Memory Fades: Dementia Information Session

The Ludwigsburg District Office invites you to an informational event titled “When Memory Fades—What Family Caregivers Should Know” on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the Ludwigsburg District Office (Hindenburgstraße 40).

The Ludwigsburg District Office invites you to an informational event on dementia

A diagnosis of dementia or a sudden health crisis often raises many questions for those affected and their families. This event provides information on legal planning options, long-term care insurance benefits, and support and respite services for daily care.

Program:

  • 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Presentation by a representative from the guardianship authority on durable power of attorney, advance directives, and legal guardianship.
  • 5:30–6:00 p.m.: Break with an opportunity to visit the information booths and speak personally with the experts.
  • 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.: Presentation by the Long-Term Care Support Center on long-term care insurance benefits as well as support and respite services for family caregivers.

The information booths in the foyer will be available throughout the event for one-on-one consultations. Participation is free of charge. Registration is not required. You may attend any of the presentations independently of the others.
