A diagnosis of dementia or a sudden health crisis often raises many questions for those affected and their families. This event provides information on legal planning options, long-term care insurance benefits, and support and respite services for daily care.
Program:
- 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Presentation by a representative from the guardianship authority on durable power of attorney, advance directives, and legal guardianship.
- 5:30–6:00 p.m.: Break with an opportunity to visit the information booths and speak personally with the experts.
- 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.: Presentation by the Long-Term Care Support Center on long-term care insurance benefits as well as support and respite services for family caregivers.
The information booths in the foyer will be available throughout the event for one-on-one consultations. Participation is free of charge. Registration is not required. You may attend any of the presentations independently of the others.
