Further training "State-certified specialist in home economics": ceremonial presentation of certificates to 16 graduates

With beaming faces, the 16 graduates of the part-time agricultural college specializing in home economics received their certificates from Luise Pachaly, Head of the Department of Agriculture. The certificates were presented by Regina Meier, Chair of the Examination Board from the Stuttgart Regional Council. In April, they successfully passed the examination to become home economics specialists at the Mittlerer Neckar Nutrition Center.

A diverse group of around 30 people stands together in a well-lit room, posing for a photo. They appear engaged and are holding documents. Behind them are presentation boards displaying various topics, indicating a gathering centered around education or community involvement.

For more than a year and a half, they went back to school one day a week to acquire in-depth rural and domestic knowledge and skills in theory and practice. For most of them, this meant juggling school, work, household and family. The unanimous opinion of the graduates is that the effort was worth it, because "we all learned a lot". In addition to the typical home economics subjects such as food production, textile care and house cleaning, the students had lessons in business administration, business management and business communication.

Currently, 14 of the housekeeping specialists are taking part in the preparatory course for the final vocational examination for housekeepers in July 2019.

On September 25, 2019, a new specialist class will start classes at the Mittlerer Neckar Nutrition Center. Interested parties can call 07141 144-44923 to find out more about the qualification program.
