The Ludwigsburg district is once again represented this year with its own booth in the Hall of Regions (Hall 4) at the Agricultural Festival in Stuttgart. On Sunday (September 27, 2026), the stage featured a discussion about the unique cultural landscape of the steep vineyards. District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier, Ingersheim Mayor Simone Lehnert, Mundelsheim Mayor Boris Seitz, host Regina Steinhauser, and the Württemberg Wine Princess Anna Maria Joos spoke about the value and preservation of the historic wine-growing landscape.

A key focus of Sunday’s stage program was the call to consciously buy, give as gifts, enjoy, and recommend wine from the region. Purchasing local wines supports local winemaking families, the regional economy, and, at the same time, the preservation of the cultural landscape.
