In times of a shortage of skilled workers, many companies are experiencing staff shortages. As a result, operations on the Strohgäubahn, operated by Württembergische Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft (WEG), have to be canceled on two days.
All operations will be affected this weekend, December 7 and 8. There are not enough staff to man the signal box on the Strohgäubahn on these days. A rail replacement service has been set up on both days. The timetables can be found online at www.weg-bahn.de/rb47 and at the replacement stops.
The journeys of the rail replacement service are also entered in the digital timetable information of VVS and DB. Passengers are requested to use these media for information on these days.
Regular services will resume on Monday, December 9, 2024.
