Change to the next construction phase: traffic routing at the Porsche intersection will be changed again on July 27

The traffic routing at the Porsche junction B27 / K1671 near Bietigheim-Bissingen will be changed again on Thursday evening, July 27. The changeover is necessary so that the road engineers from the district administration office can also renovate the inner-local area of the B27 in the direction of the train station between the junction of the K1671 and the junction of Berliner Straße.

The planned traffic routing provides for only one lane in each direction to be available along the entire construction site from the start of the summer vacation, both in the direction of Ludwigsburg and in the direction of Bietigheim station. During this construction phase, it will only be possible to enter Berliner Straße at the Weller car dealership from the direction of Ludwigsburg.

The construction phase will be completed by the start of the horse market in Bietigheim on the first weekend in September. Due to the generally lower volume of traffic during the summer vacations, this construction phase was deliberately scheduled during this period in order to reduce the restrictions for road users.

The K 1671 between Fritz-Lieken-Straße and the junction with the B 27 at the Porschehochhaus will remain closed. All resulting inter-urban detour will remain in place. The K 1671, which has been extended to three lanes, is scheduled to go into operation at the end of August. However, the K 1671 will not be fully passable at that time, as the road surface between Fritz-Lieken-Straße and Carl-Benz-Straße will be renewed in the two weeks following the horse market.

The district has allocated around 2.5 million euros from the district road construction program for the project. A further 3 million euros are planned for the construction work on the B27, which the district is taking over for the state of Baden-Württemberg.

The district administration office asks all road users for their understanding for the disruption caused, especially in the detour area.
