From May 27 to 30, 2025: Complete closure of the K1642 between Häfnerhaslach and Sternenfels - repair work in the area of the Krebsbach bridge

The Vaihingen/Enz road maintenance depot will be carrying out urgently needed repair work in the area of the Krebsbach bridge on the K1642 district road between Häfnerhaslach and Sternenfels from May 27 to probably May 30, 2025.

Map showing two routes marked in red and blue, indicating road conditions or construction. Key locations and road signs are depicted, with specific points of interest highlighted along each route. The map emphasizes road conditions relevant for navigation.

Detour plan: Ludwigsburg District Office.

A roadblock is featured with a red and white barrier, and a circular road sign indicating 'no entry.' There is a yellow sign pointing to the right labeled "Umleitung," which means "detour" in German. Several warning lights are positioned at the top of the barrier.

This section of road was washed out and the subsoil was washed out due to the heavy impact of water. The closure has become necessary at short notice in order to be able to react promptly to the damage that has occurred. To ensure road safety, the damage will be repaired and precautions taken against future washouts.

A full closure of the K1642 in the affected section is required to carry out the measures. A detour route has been set up and runs via Häfnerhaslach - Gündelbach - Schützingen - Zaisersweiher - Diefenbach - Sternenfels - and in the opposite direction.

The Ludwigsburg District Office and the Vaihingen/Enz road maintenance depot ask all road users for their understanding for the disruption.
