From March 2 to 3 due to work on the railing of the highway bridge: Partial closure of the cycle path along the L1129 between Pleidelsheim and Freiberg

Due to work on the railings of the highway bridge over the A81, the cycle path along the state road 1129 between Freiberg am Neckar and Pleidelsheim must be closed from March 2, 7:30 am to March 3, 3:00 pm.

The background to the work is the desire to increase road safety for cyclists on this stretch of road by extending the bridge railing and preventing them from slipping down the steep embankment. The district authority is investing around 5,000 euros in this project.

In order to affect as few schoolchildren as possible, the work will take place during the carnival vacations. The road builders from the district office are closing off a stretch of around 400 meters to allow cyclists to move onto the road early. The district administration office asks motorists to drive with appropriate caution.
