The section of road between the junction with Brückenstraße and the access road to the Oeffingen sports grounds will have to be fully closed for this. A detour will be set up. The renovation of the road surface on the L 1197 between the town hall junction in Remseck-Neckarrems and the access road to the "Aldinger Schleuse" business park (Brückenstraße) began back in October 2020. On Monday, September 27, the second construction phase of the renovation work will now begin from Brückenstraße to the district border behind the junction of the municipal road to the Skizunft am Schlossberg. The work is expected to last until mid-October.
The existing carriageway has deep ruts and cracks in some areas. The verge is also badly damaged in places. As part of the renovation work, the top two layers of asphalt and, where there are larger depressions, the entire asphalt package will be replaced.

Local traffic will be diverted in both directions via the L 1142 to Hegnach and the K 1854 and will be signposted accordingly. The bus stops on route 214 "Am Schlossberg" and "Oeffingen Sportgelände" will not be served during the construction period.
In order to invest in the infrastructure, the state is providing the road builders of the district office with 200,000 euros for the renovation work.
The Ludwigsburg District Office asks all road users, residents and passengers for their understanding in the event of any traffic disruptions.
