The construction site is the first section of the long-planned construction project to widen the district road 1669 between Remseck-Hochdorf and Affalterbach.
Work is being carried out in the first construction phase on the out-of-town road, the district road 1669 between Remseck-Hochdorf and Affalterbach in the area of the Affalterbach exit to the Siegelhausen access road. The road must be fully closed for the work.
Detour routes have been set up
Two detour routes will be signposted. Traffic coming from Remseck-Hochberg will be routed via the K 1673, the K 1909, Bittenfeld and the K 1849 as well as the L 1127 to Affalterbach and back to Remseck-Hochdorf. Traffic from Ludwigsburg-Poppenweiler will be diverted via the K 1695, Marbach and the L 1127 to Affalterbach and back to Poppenweiler.
During the road construction work from September 16, the first construction section from Affalterbach to the Siegelhausen access road will be carried out first. The remaining expansion of the second construction section from the Siegelhausen access road to Hochdorf is planned from mid-2025. The work will then include the Siegelhausen and Hochdorf access roads.
At the same time as the Ludwigsburg district administration's construction project, construction phase 1, the local thoroughfare of the K 1669 Talstraße/Hochdorfer Straße to Siegelhäuser Straße BA 1a is being renovated on behalf of the town of Affalterbach. This involves carrying out pipeline and road construction work. The district is bearing the costs of around two million euros for the renovation of the district road.
Construction measure serves road safety
Both the renovation and the widening are being carried out on behalf of the Ludwigsburg district authority. The widening of the district road 1669 between Remseck-Hochdorf and Affalterbach is urgently needed as the road surface has a lot of damage and can no longer cope with the current traffic load. The upgrade is intended to improve road safety by widening the road and making bends and crests easier to negotiate.
The district authority asks all road users and residents for their understanding for the obstructions and restrictions.
