Vocatium Stuttgart 2026: Discover Career Opportunities in the Public Sector

The District Administration Office will be exhibiting at the Vocatium fair on July 9 and 10, 2026, at the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle in Stuttgart. There, students will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about a wide range of apprenticeship programs and dual study programs and to talk with apprentices, students, and HR representatives. Vocatium Stuttgart will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. each day at the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle in Stuttgart.

For students still in school who are thinking about their future careers, Vocatium Stuttgart offers an ideal opportunity to get to know the District Administration Office as an employer. At the booth, apprentices, students, and HR representatives will share personal insights into their day-to-day work and will be available to answer questions about apprenticeships, college, and career paths.

Vocatium Stuttgart is one of the most important fairs for recruiting new apprentices and dual-track students. Each year, it marks the start of the selection process for the upcoming training and academic year.A key feature of the fair is its proven concept of pre-scheduled interviews. Many high school students schedule specific interview times with exhibitors weeks before the event, allowing them to obtain targeted information about their career prospects.

A Wide Range of Apprenticeship and Study Opportunities

At the fair booth, the District Administration Office provides information on the following apprenticeship professions: mid-level administrative officer, administrative clerk, safety and security specialist, road maintenance worker, and surveying technician.

In addition, the dual degree programs in Public Management, Digital Administrative Management, and Civil Engineering—Public Works—as well as various fields of study in social work will be presented. These range from working with children, youth, and families to assisting people in existential crises and providing social services to older adults.

New degree programs expand the offerings

Particular focus is placed on three degree programs that the District Administration Office is offering for the first time. These include the Civil Engineering – Public Construction program in cooperation with the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) in Mosbach. Also new is the Digital Administrative Management program, which can be completed at the Universities of Public Administration in Ludwigsburg or Kehl. The offerings are rounded out by the Social Work with Older Adults program in cooperation with the DHBW Villingen-Schwenningen.
