The background to this is a nationwide warning strike at Bundesdruckerei GmbH and its sister company D-Trust GmbH. The two companies are currently in collective bargaining with the trade union ver.di. As no agreement has been reached so far, employees have been called to strike again from April 8 to 10, 2025.
The production and dispatch of your ID documents is carried out by Bundesdruckerei. Therefore, there may be delays in processing over the next few days, over which the Ludwigsburg District Office unfortunately has no influence.
Bundesdruckerei is working with the trade union to find a solution as soon as possible.
