Administrative Board: First proposal from Ludwigsburg discussed

The members of the administrative board of the Stadtbahn special purpose association discussed the City of Ludwigsburg's proposal regarding compensation payments for the Stadtbahn project. Lord Mayor Dr. Matthias Knecht had submitted this proposal to the committee as a basis for further discussions. However, the Board of Directors did not agree with this proposal. The Administrative Board therefore agreed, on the recommendation of Chairman District Administrator Allgaier and the Lord Mayor of Ludwigsburg, that the city should immediately revise its previous proposal on the basis of the discussions held.

At the same time, the city of Ludwigsburg will calculate the relevant points for the compensation payments together with the office of the special-purpose association and present them to the committee. The committee will then coordinate and initiate the next steps towards the member municipalities and the special-purpose association assembly.

In this context, further questions regarding the future of the special-purpose association and the route will also be clarified.

"We can only deal with reactivation once the city has made a binding declaration on the reimbursement of costs and an agreement has been reached in the committee," explained Dietmar Allgaier, Chairman of the Zweckverband Stadtbahn.
