How can sustainability be implemented in a concrete way within a company and embedded for the long term? At the networking event (Riedstraße 1, 71729 Erdmannhausen) titled “Insights into the Family-Owned Company HUOBER BREZEL: EMAS, Organic, and Responsibility in Action,” interested companies will gain fascinating insights into the history of the pretzel specialist and its work with EMAS certification. The company is family-run in its third generation and is thus the only manufacturer in its industry to have maintained its independence continuously since its founding.
Those interested can register by November 18 at www.landkreis-ludwigsburg.de/UNEK

Arqum will explain the requirements companies must meet for EMAS certification in a technical presentation. The consulting firm, which specializes in the environment, climate, energy, sustainability, occupational safety, and quality, will also address other relevant topics, such as ISO 14001 and the EmpCo guideline on sustainability reporting, which took effect at the end of September.
HUOBER will not only provide insight into the ErdmannHAUSER, HUOBER BREZEL, and BioGourmet corporate group but will also demonstrate how a company campus can function as an ecosystem. In addition, participating companies have the opportunity to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere, make new contacts, and strengthen their networks. During the concluding tour of the pretzel factory, attendees can experience the production process up close.
