During this time, the Strohgäubahn will not be able to run on the entire route between Korntal and Heimerdingen. Buses will be used as a substitute. The timetable for the replacement buses will be published on the homepage of the Verkehrsverbund Stuttgart (VVS) and at www.weg-bahn.de/de/baustellen. Bicycles can only be taken on the buses to a limited extent.
At the same time as the track construction work, road construction work is taking place between Weilimdorf and Korntal. There may therefore be delays in rail replacement services in this section. The replacement buses coming from Strohgäu will stop at Weilimdorf Bf (underpass) to get off and ensure a reliable transfer to the S-Bahn.
