Road closure from October 21: Tree felling work on Pulverdinger Straße in the direction of Hochdorf

Safety first: In the week beginning October 21, the L 1136 (Pulverdinger Straße) must be closed from the junction with the B 10 in the direction of Eberdingen-Hochdorf due to tree felling work. Sick trees will be felled in the Obere Pulverdinger Holz to maintain road safety along the road.

A roadblock is featured with a red and white barrier, and a circular road sign indicating 'no entry.' There is a yellow sign pointing to the right labeled "Umleitung," which means "detour" in German. Several warning lights are positioned at the top of the barrier.

The forestry department had already informed interested parties about the upcoming measures during a forest tour in the summer. Numerous ash, maple and beech trees are suffering greatly from the drought of recent years. While the beech trees have dried out, the ash and maple trees are suffering from tree diseases, which were able to attack the weakened trees particularly easily in the dry weather. Without this felling, numerous trees could fall uncontrollably in the following months and endanger people on the road.

The Forestry Department asks for your understanding for any disruption caused by the road closure. Appropriate detour will be signposted.
