Simply take part in everyday life

Every kilometer cycled counts - whether it's a trip to the bakery, to work or a long tour at the weekend. Anyone can take part in city cycling as part of their everyday life. For additional motivation, sub-teams can be formed, for example in companies, among friends or in school classes. Schools also have the opportunity to take part in the special "School Cycling" competition this year.

Background information on city cycling and the cycling culture initiative

City Cycling is a campaign of the Climate Alliance Services. The organization complements the structure of the European city network Climate Alliance and bundles advisory services, campaigns and data collection services for the implementation of municipal climate protection measures. City cycling has been taking place since 2008. Last year, it got more than 220,000 people on their bikes in Baden-Württemberg alone.

The aim of the Radkultur initiative is to encourage more people to cycle in their everyday lives - for their own health and for environmentally friendly mobility. With creative campaigns and activities, it makes cycling visible, tangible and attractive.
