Since July 1: District Office has taken over COVID-19 contact tracing from local authorities again - Keeping a close eye on the state of health

The Ludwigsburg District Office took over contact tracing for people infected with COVID-19 again on July 1.

Towns and municipalities in the district of Ludwigsburg had temporarily taken on this task. "I would like to thank the 39 municipalities in the district for this - they relieved and facilitated the work of the district administration office at the height of the coronavirus crisis. We are now in a good position to carry out this task ourselves again," says District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier.

With the transfer of the task from the municipalities to the district office, the intensity of communication with the quarantined contact persons will also increase: They will be called every other day to keep an eye on their state of health.
