Reconstruction of district road 1632 between Freudental and Tripsdrill leisure park: full closure of the access road to the Bönnigheim chaff cutting area and the Krappenberg hiking parking lot from March 17 to the beginning of April

Since January 27, 2025, the district road 1632 between the junction of the L 1106 near Freudental and the Tripsdrill leisure park has been fully closed. Access to the Bönnigheim chopping area and the Krappenberg hiking parking lot was previously still possible. From next Monday, March 17, 2025, these two access roads will now also be closed, as they will also be renovated during the upcoming asphalt work on the K 1632.

In the area where the K 1632 joins the L 1106, it will also be necessary to regulate traffic in one direction with traffic lights for two weeks in order to provide sufficient space for the asphalt paving work. Access to the chopping area and the hiking parking lot should be possible again in the first week of April. The complete closure of the entire K 1632 should end in the second week of April.

In the next few weeks, asphalt work and the installation of stable concrete verges will be carried out

Since the start of the construction work, tree felling and maintenance work has been carried out along the K 1632. The installation of the amphibian culverts between the "Amann-Weg" hiking parking lot and the district boundary has now also been completed. The area adjacent to the road has been profiled and the existing topsoil banks have been removed. In the next four weeks until the K 1632 is opened to traffic, the asphalt work and the installation of the stable concrete verges are on the agenda. The road markings and delineators will also be installed by the beginning of April. However, the road will only be open to traffic at a speed of "50" for the time being, as an amphibian fence still has to be erected and crash barrier work carried out on the roadside by the end of April. However, this remaining work can take place in the form of daytime roadworks while traffic is moving.

The extensive renovation work is being carried out on behalf of the Ludwigsburg District Office. The district is investing around 0.8 million euros in maintaining its infrastructure.

The district office asks all road users for their understanding for any possible obstructions.
