Renovation of the Enzbrücke bridge near Oberriexingen completed on Thursday

After a total construction period of 20 weeks, the Enzbrücke bridge on the K 1683 near Oberriexingen can be reopened to traffic on the afternoon of Thursday, August 15, 2024.

The following work was carried out:

  • Sealing of substructure
  • Concrete renovation
  • Renewal of drains and drip nozzles (drainage facilities)
  • Dismantling and renewal of railings
  • Renewal of bearing base
  • Lifting bridge and replacing bearings
  • Repair transition structures
  • Repair of adjacent natural stone walls
  • Renewal of road surface

The renovation and construction work went according to plan, meaning that the work has now been completed ahead of schedule at the end of August. The scaffolding is currently being dismantled and minor remaining work under the roadway is being completed.

From August 22: Renovation of the K 1683 Sersheim bypass

The district has earmarked around 800,000 euros for the construction work. As of today, the budget has been adhered to, but the final settlement will still take some time.

Following this measure, the renovation of the K 1683 Sersheim bypass will begin on August 22, 2024.
