The construction work will be carried out in two phases so that residents are inconvenienced as little as possible. However, a full road closure is necessary for the first construction phase. This extends from the Poppenweiler/Bittenfelder Straße junction to the junction with Lembergstraße.
In the second construction phase, Bittenfelder Straße will be closed on one side as far as the Hochberger Straße junction. A traffic light regulates the passage. The workers are removing the existing asphalt layers and restoring the base and surface courses.
The local detour between Hochdorf and Poppenweiler during the first construction phase is signposted via Hochberg.
Public and school bus services will also be affected by the construction work during this time. Citizens are asked to inform themselves about any changes to the timetable.
The construction project will start on August 21, 2023 and work on the first section will be completed by the end of September. Work will then continue on the second section. The district has earmarked around 400,000 euros for the project.
The district administration office asks all road users and residents for their understanding for the obstructions and restrictions.
