At the district hall, the tourism experts will provide information about the Bietigheim horse market, which will take place from September 1 to 5, 2023 on the fairground near the viaduct. There you can see the largest horse show in southern Germany, an exhibition and the popular grocer's market.
The Besigheim Winegrowers' Festival will also be presented at the Kreishaus. After a break of many years, this starts two weeks later with the wine village on the Kelterplatz. As a special experience, the vaulted cellars in Besigheim will be opened and catered for. A colorful program is offered on four festival days, including many bands on three main stages.
One new feature that visitors to the exhibition can look forward to is the 3B Bike Listening Tour with the Listening Tour app. With this, cyclists are navigated on an approximately 30 km long bike tour and guided to twelve listening points where stories from 3B-Land are told. The spectrum ranges from exciting to curious: interesting facts about bridge tolls and Demokratenbuckel, broom taverns and vineyard terraces can be heard. The route leads through town and village centers, through orchards and along the vine-lined valleys of the Enz and Neckar rivers.
The new "3B-Weinerleben" brochure is also available from the district office. It lists all the dates for the second half of 2023 in the 3B region, from farmhouse tastings and wine tours to covered wagon rides and wine festivals. Of particular note is the "3B Wine Highlights" gourmet hiking day, which will take place on August 13, 2023 with 15 gourmet stands on a 15 km circular hike between Besigheim and Bietigheim-Bissingen.
The exhibition can be visited during the usual opening hours of the Kreishaus at Hindenburgstr. 40.
