We are looking for people who enjoy working with children, are willing to take on responsibility, and are interested in self-employment. The childcare provider certification program provides a comprehensive training that covers all the essential knowledge needed to care for and support children. Topics include developmental psychology, nutrition, and legal and organizational fundamentals. This career not only offers excellent opportunities to balance family and work but also the chance to provide individualized support and encouragement to children during a crucial stage of their lives.

Early Entry into the Field

The training program follows the Baden-Württemberg qualification framework and comprises a total of 300 instructional units. Participants can begin caring for children after completing just the first 80 instructional units. The second part of the training then takes place on a part-time basis while participants are working. Early childhood educators are considered fully qualified upon completion of the first 80 instructional units.

The courses are offered as a combination of full-day sessions on weekends and evening sessions during the week. The training is free of charge for participants. The next training course begins in November.
