AVL opening hours at the turn of the year

Around the turn of the year, slightly different opening hours apply to the AVL sites. All sites will be closed on New Year's Eve and public holidays.

The second-hand department store Warenwandel will be open on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Burghof landfill (Vaihingen/Enz-Horrheim) as well as the Am Froschgraben landfill (Schwieberdingen) and the construction recycling center there will be closed up to and including Tuesday, January 6, 2026.

The Burghof Plus recycling center in Vaihingen/Enz and the other AVL recycling centers will remain closed on Monday, January 5, 2026. AVL is offering the following additional opening hours instead: The Wasserturm recycling center in Kornwestheim and the Lauffener Feld recycling center in Bönnigheim will be open on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. On Saturday, January 3, 2026, all recycling centers will remain open until 4 p.m. - with one exception: the Hofgut Mauer recycling center will close at 1 p.m. as usual. The Lehenfeld Plus recycling center in Asperg will also open on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

The Warenwandel used goods department store in Ludwigsburg will be open on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, and Friday, January 2, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., as well as on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The second-hand department store Warenwandel will be closed on all other days around the turn of the year. From Wednesday, January 7, 2026, the regular opening hours will apply again.
