CO2 emissions in the district's transportation sector are to be reduced by 55 percent by 2030 compared to 2010. This is the goal of the Ludwigsburg district's climate mobility plan, which will be drawn up by summer 2024. In developing the measures to achieve this goal, the district administration is not only relying on regional transport expertise and the municipalities involved in the project. Public participation also plays a central role.
For this reason, four public community forums allow all interested parties to participate directly in the development of the climate mobility plan. The first community forum was held in the Möglingen community center last Wednesday. Participants were able to share their suggestions directly with the district administration's project managers, and a wide range of opinions led to insightful discussions. The results of the workshop will be professionally evaluated and incorporated into the further course of the process.
The three outstanding community forums will take place on the following dates:
May 22 in the Remseck am Neckar town hall
May 24 at the Kulturhaus Sachsenheim
May 25 in the Bürgersaal Murr
All community forums will take place from 18:00 to 21:00. Admission is at 17:30 in each case. Catering will be provided for the participants.
Please register your participation informally by email to nachhaltige-mobilitaet[at]landkreis-ludwigsburg.de, stating the date of the event. Everyone is welcome to take part in the events.
