Short-term care spots still available during the winter months

Family caregivers in the Ludwigsburg district can take a much-needed break—whether for a vacation, a family gathering, or simply to recharge—with support from the Ludwigsburg District Office’s placement agency. The agency provides short-term care placements that can be scheduled in advance. There are still openings available for the winter months starting in November 2026.

The Ludwigsburg District Office’s referral service helps family caregivers take a break from caregiving (Ludwigsburg District Office).

Short-term care is offered at two inpatient care facilities and can be booked on a flexible basis. Since these spots are available only for short-term stays, follow-up care at home must be arranged.

The placement agency assists with organizing short-term care and ensures a quick and easy process. Important : A lead time of about three weeks is generally required. Details regarding the terms and conditions can be discussed during a personal consultation.
