District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier became aware of the lack of such signs through a citizen request and campaigned for an appealing solution: "Sometimes it's the small suggestions from the public that bring about big changes. I am delighted that we are sending out a strong signal for our hospitable and diverse district with these creative and modern signs."
The Ludwigsburg district administration's departments of district development, climate protection, mobility and tourism and roads jointly developed the concept for the new signs. The aim was to present the district in all its diversity and at the same time create an inviting atmosphere.
Three-dimensional signs offer a special view
The three-dimensional design of the signs is particularly innovative: The image section in the shape of the district enables a special perception - both a view into the district and outwards is possible. The changing perspectives create a dynamic and lively image that allows the district to be experienced from different angles.
Remseck's Lord Mayor Dirk Schönberger also welcomes the welcome signs: "The welcome signs already create an inviting atmosphere at the district borders.I am particularly pleased that the people in Remseck am Neckar are now also being welcomed to the district. It is not only an aesthetic element, but also a symbol of our vibrant and future-oriented district."
With the implementation of this project, the district of Ludwigsburg joins the group of districts that welcome their guests with attractive signage.
