New online service: All important contacts and help on the subject of addiction
The district is already well positioned with its addiction prevention and help services. However, citizens are often not sufficiently aware of the services on offer. This is now set to change with the new homepage. "We are constantly committed to expanding and maintaining the municipal network with regard to addiction prevention and addiction help in order to meet the needs and problems of the people in the district," says Cornelia Knapp, municipal addiction officer for the district of Ludwigsburg.
"We want to present our services to people as simply and in line with their needs as possible and inform them where they can turn to with their concerns if necessary," adds Sabine Keller, also the district's municipal addiction officer. "The addiction prevention services should also be transparently accessible, giving the stakeholders the opportunity to network better and better."
In addition to information on the topic of addiction, the website also provides contacts to advice centers, self-help groups or addiction support and information on addiction prevention projects. The website is continuously updated and expanded in order to meet the needs of users and provide them with the best possible support.
Addiction support association in the district of Ludwigsburg
The website is run by the Addiction Help Association, an association of addiction help stakeholders that has been active since 2008 and represents and shapes the addiction help landscape within the district. The members come from the psychosocial counseling centers, the medical profession and clinics, addiction self-help and pension insurance. The website is financed and supported by AOK Baden-Württemberg - Die Gesundheitskasse Ludwigsburg-Rems-Murr.
