New traffic light technology at the Weinstrasse intersection

The technology of the traffic lights at the Weinstraße junction (L 1140/L 1141) near Schwieberdingen is outdated and therefore needs to be replaced. During the work, it will only be possible to turn right in all directions.

A busy intersection is depicted with several vehicles stopped at traffic lights. The sky is overcast with clouds. Traffic signals include green and red lights, indicating movement and stopping for cars. A stop sign is also visible, guiding drivers at the intersection.

To maintain the infrastructure, the road engineers from the district authority are renewing the entire signal technology at the junction between the two state roads. In order to carry out this work, the traffic lights will have to be taken out of operation from August 20 to August 23 and several lanes will have to be closed. During the construction period, it will no longer be possible to turn left in any direction.

It will no longer be possible to turn left on the L1140 coming from Ludwigsburg or the B10, but it will be possible to drive straight ahead. On the L1141 coming from Markgröningen or Münchingen, it is only possible to turn right.

A detour via the B10 is signposted with U70 or U71 for the opposite direction.

The investment volume amounts to approx. 25,000€.
