More than 70 museums in the district provide information about art and culture. These are clearly presented in the museum brochure. Interested parties will find a brief description of the collection area, information on accessibility, contact details for queries and information on opening hours and admission prices. A new feature is the addition of a section for family-friendly offers and the assignment of museums to subject areas using easy-to-understand symbols directly below the museum name.

This allows you to quickly find the right museum depending on your interests. Or you can simply browse through the museums on offer in the district and be inspired.
It is worth noting that the majority of museums are run on a voluntary basis. With a great deal of dedication and commitment, numerous volunteers make sure that the collections are interesting, entertaining and appealing.
The new museum brochure is now available in many tourist information offices and town halls in towns and municipalities as well as in the museums. It can also be picked up from the information point at the Ludwigsburg District Office or ordered by e-mail at: tourismus[at]landkreis-ludwigsburg.de.
