Newly published district museum brochure now available

There are many new, interesting and unique things to discover in the diverse museum landscape of the Ludwigsburg district. For this reason, the district's museum brochure, which is now available, has been updated and reissued. District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier says: "Leisure time can be spent in many different ways. The extraordinary museums in the district offer a colorful bouquet of topics that invite you to explore and experience."

A vibrant street scene in Ludwigsburg showcases art and culture. The image features colorful flower-adorned buildings, outdoor seating, and a welcoming atmosphere, representing local museums, galleries, and exhibitions. A sign prominently displays "Kunst & Kultur im Landkreis Ludwigsburg," highlighting cultural experiences available in the area.

More than 70 museums in the district provide information about art and culture. These are clearly presented in the museum brochure. Interested parties will find a brief description of the collection area, information on accessibility, contact details for queries and information on opening hours and admission prices. A new feature is the addition of a section for family-friendly offers and the assignment of museums to subject areas using easy-to-understand symbols directly below the museum name.

Most of the museums are run on a voluntary basis

In addition, there is an overview map for each subject area, in which the relevant museums in the respective town or municipality are listed. This allows you to quickly find the right museum depending on your interests. Or you can simply browse through the museums on offer in the district and be inspired.

It is worth noting that the majority of museums are run on a voluntary basis. With a great deal of dedication and commitment, numerous volunteers make sure that the collections are interesting, entertaining and appealing.

The new museum brochure is now available in many tourist information offices and town halls in towns and municipalities as well as in the museums. It can also be picked up from the information point at the Ludwigsburg District Office or ordered by e-mail at: tourismus[at]landkreis-ludwigsburg.de.
