On Tuesday and Wednesday, January 17 and 18, 2023, structural tests will be carried out on the weir bridge over the Neckar in Hessigheim in preparation for a structural renovation scheduled for 2024. The bridge will therefore be closed for two days.
During this time, the condition of the bridge will be checked using an under-bridge inspection device and material samples will be taken. The work will be carried out under full closure due to the limited space available. The closure will be put in place on the morning of Tuesday, January 17. Detour will be signposted. The detour route from Hessigheim to the opposite bank of the Neckar, to the residents there and to Schreyerhof in the direction of Kleiningersheim leads via Mundelsheim, Pleidelsheim and Großingersheim.
