In the online vote for the Bike&Travel Award, readers once again cast numerous votes for 48 nominated travel stories. More than 100 regions were represented. The ranking was based on authentic ratings from readers. Votes were cast in five categories: "The best pleasure tours", "The best river bike tours", "The best vacation trips", "The best Alpine trips" and "The best adventure tours".
The Neckar Valley Cycle Path leads around 50 kilometers through beautiful landscapes and terraced vineyards in the district of Ludwigsburg, attracting a large number of cycling enthusiasts to the region every year. District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier is delighted with the result of the vote: "This award shows that the commitment of the neighboring municipalities and the uniqueness of this cycle path are well received by visitors."
So that the Neckar Valley cycle path remains as beautiful in the future: Defective or missing signage and other defects on the cycle route can be reported to the Ludwigsburg District Office, Department of Surveying, Land Consolidation and District Development, Tourism Division by emailing tourismus[at]landkreis-ludwigsburg.de.
