When loved ones need care, it is a matter of course for many family members to help their relative. At the same time, everyone is responsible for their own life. How do you deal with this balancing act, meet the demands of everyday life and not lose sight of yourself? The need for individual, plannable time out is obviously great - and the issues that family caregivers face are many and varied. The staff of the PflegeFrei advice center, in cooperation with the Social Planning Department, therefore cordially invite family caregivers and relatives of people with disabilities, regardless of age, to the following exchange meetings:
Thursday, 16. September 2021 - 14:30 to 16:00 hrs
"Right to time out" - open discussion round
In moderated small groups, family caregivers can share personal experiences and consider which local advice and care services are or would be helpful in everyday care.
Location: Conference area of the Ludwigsburg District Office
Thursday, 30. September 2021 - 14:30 to 17:00 pm
Space for encounters - walk followed by a coffee break
Get into conversation, get to know new people in similar situations - there should be time for this on this afternoon. When you meet others, it almost goes without saying that you gain a little distance from everyday life.
Meeting point: Monrepos Ludwigsburg parking lot
Thursday, October 07, 2021 - 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Seminar on the topic of "Care - self-care"
In this seminar, we will look together at ways to deal better with stressful situations. Another component will be learning breathing and relaxation exercises to make it easier to calm down.
Location: Conference area of the Ludwigsburg District Office
